Japan is the leading hot spring country, however, there are many other hot spring resorts in the world. Nowadays, those resorts in Japan made progress in the touristic use of hot springs rather than the therapeutic, while the other countries', especially in Europe made them for the visitors to soothe body and soul.
Regrettably even those in Europe are changing and losing the primary concept now. Hot Spring is a blessing from God, a precious asset of humans, and it is a mission for everyone of the world to preserve and use it properly. Here I introduce the characteristic hot spring resorts of the world I visited so far with the pictures.
