According to a literature of the middle of Meiji period it was discovered in 1897 and was called Hamada Mineral Spring or Uchikamado-no-Yu.
The building was constructed in 1935 with a bath on the 1st floor and a community hall on the 2nd. In April of 2002 a new reinforced concrete Japanese style bath was opened in front.photo
Compared to the other facilities it is considered for senior citizens by placing handrails along a bathtub and in a dressing room as well as wide smooth passages for wheelchairs.
