Hobby: Baseball, played from elementary school to university
Favorite Food: Jigokumushi Pudding made in Beppu
Motto: "To see what is right and not to do it is to lack courage."

Portrait of the Mayor

I was shocked during my trip alone through Europe prior to graduation from university. Thus the uniting of people, history and culture became a political principle to me.

I have put up the slogan "One Will, One Beppu". We will push forward with the creation of Beppu with harmony and cooperation.

As mentioned earlier in my profile, my hobby is baseball but I haven't been able to find time to wear my uniform. I love Jigokumushi Pudding and have no dislikes.

I was born and raised in Beppu and am currently 40 years of age. I will lead the Beppu municipal administration here onwards with all my energy and with speed.
